| Another tourist attraction that was built during the Spanish times is Provincial Capitol. It was erected in 1918 with Don Florencio Castro as governor and was inaugurated in 1924. It was enlarged and remodeled in 1957 during the administration of governor Antonio V. Raquiza.
A complete renovation and improvement was undertaken by the administration of the Honorable Governor of Ilocos Norte, Atty. Rodolfo C. Fari�as, the governor of the province for three terms. |
